Dear Chatsworth Parents and Carers,
We would like to introduce the newly formed Chatsworth PTA (Parent Teacher Association); Chair Yogita Kanda; Vice Chair Mridhu Khan; Treasurer Isha Agarwal and Secretary Padmapriya Anandhakumar. We all have children in the KS1 years.
We have an ever expanding team of parents and carers joining our team, without whom the PTA would not be able to function. If you are a parent who has some time and would love to be a part of the team, please come forward. We require at least two parent representatives per class.
The PTA is a charitable organisation. We raise money to be put back into school. For example; monies raised help to buy much needed equipment; help subsidise school trips; put on fun and exciting events for children and parents. Without the kind support from our parents and carers, none of this would be possible.
How you can help: Please do come forward if you have time to spare to help at our functions; if you or your friends and family have a business that the school and our children will benefit from, we in turn will try our best to support you and your business; donate any unwanted items that we are able to sell on; if, you or any one you know, have skills in baking, arts and crafts, and so on. All types of skills sets and donations are welcome.
Going forward we will try and keep our webpage updated with upcoming events and details on how our previous events went.
Finally, a reminder that Chatsworth Primary School’s Christmas Fair will be held on Tuesday 19th December in the Northern Hall from 3:30pm to 5:30pm. We are planning to have a “Festive foods from around the World” stall and are in need of parental donations of food from your part of the world. Please be advised that all foods coming into the school be completely nut free and vegetarian. These donations will be required by the morning of the 19th.
Thank You in advance for taking the time, to not only read this letter, but with your contributions.
Chair of Chatsworth Parent Teacher Association.
