Year 6
6DR class - Miss D Retallick
There are two facts about Miss Retallick that most children know:
- she is from Cornwall, the furthest county in the South West of the UK. They eat a lot of pasties there and also jam and cream scones - but make sure you put the jam on first!
- she lives on a Dutch barge on the Grand Union Canal.
She plays the piano and cornet and usually plays The Last Post for our 2 minute silence on Remembrance Day. A keen golfer, she can often be found hitting a little white ball around the Buckinghamshire countryside. Her motto is 'Hit it...find it...hit it again!' She has been teaching at Chatsworth for 15 years and has taught in Reception, Year 1, Year 2, Year 5 and now Year 6.
6SA class - Miss S Abdi
Hi, I'm Miss Abdi and I am back teaching in Year 6 again after a year of travelling. This is my eleventh year at Chatsworth and, before Year 6, I was lucky enough to teach in Years 2, 3, 4 and 5 I love reading fiction, watching movies of any genre except horror. I enjoy learning about other cultures - whether it's food, language or traditions, which is why I love travelling and would love to travel to as many countries as possible.
6RP class - Mr R Pearce
Hello, my name is Mr Pearce and I teach Year 6. I'm originally from South Wales and when I first came to London I only planned on staying for one year - that was 13 years ago! Outside of school, I enjoy going to the gym, playing golf and watching rugby.
