Welcome to the Chatsworth Ofsted report page. Please read the reports carefully.
You will notice that in June 2016 the school received an RI judgement. This came as a great surprise to us as we judged ourselves good/outstanding. You will see that all areas connected with teaching and learning are good. Readers should note that a school judged as RI cannot have any outstanding areas, even if some areas are in fact outstanding!
On the second day of inspection, a team of 5 inspectors examined all school practices related to safeguarding - no concerns were raised regarding the practice in school and we pride ourselves on the way we work tirelessly to keep children safe.
Governors have worked closely with the school to ensure that they make the necessary checks so that they too are satisfied we do everything we can as a school to keep our children safe and secure.
Over the last six years the governing board has worked incredibly hard to manage the transition from two schools to one and at the same time a change from two to three-form entry. The safety and education of our children has indeed been their major concern and it is unfortunate that this commitment was not fully recognised by the Ofsted team.

OFSTED inspection 04.03.19
I was contacted by OFSTED today to tell me an OFSTED inspection will take place tomorrow and Wednesday! We were delighted to hear this as we have waited a long time to be able to show the inspectors what a great school Chatsworth really is.
OFSTED have asked me to forward a letter to you explaining what the inspection process involves. I will also be in the playground on Tuesday morning to answer any questions you may have.
Please can I ask you to read the letter and complete the survey. The more people who go online to take the survey, the better picture OFSTED will have of our school.
