Hello! This is my fifth year at Chatsworth and I'm delighted to be teaching Big Ben. I love teaching and learning and am sure we will have a great year together. My favourite subjects when I was at school were Literacy and History and I still love getting lost in the past or in a good book. Outside of school I enjoy keeping fit by running and playing netball. I am also passionate about travel and have been lucky enough to teach in India and Italy.
After having enjoyed teaching for many years in Year 1 (with a reprieve in Reception for a year), I have now crossed over to Key Stage 2! It is my pleasure to now be teaching in Buckingham Palace Class.
I have always been an enthusiastic reader and one day hope to write my own stories. When I'm not engrossed within the pages of a good book, I quite enjoy watching a good film, especially those starring my favourite comic book heroes. I love Marvel and Harry Potter! I can also be spotted often taking a trip into London to visit the theatre or wander around a great exhibition (whether it is my favourite artist or something more historical).
I started Chatsworth in 2017 and have enjoyed my time here so far. I have spent both years in Downing Street and am currently sharing the class with Mrs Firth. I teach the class in the mornings and spend the afternoons teaching PE to the other key stage 2 classes. When I am not at school, I love playing and watching football amongst other sports.
I started Chatsworth in 2010 and have taught in Years 2, 3 and 4. I became a mum in 2013 and now only teach part-time. I work all day on Monday but on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays I only work in the afternoons. I currently teach in Downing Street with Mr Pirbhai. I also share the role of Maths coordinator with Mr Goddard. I love travelling, and when I was little I moved around a lot, living in 4 different countries before my family moved to the UK when I was 15. I also enjoy reading, baking and decorating cakes and exploring the outdoors.
