Year 3

Mr Goddard

My name is Mr Goddard and I am very pleased to undertake my third year in Downing Street class. This year will be a new experience for me as we will have two teachers for Downing Street class. I am sure we will have a fantastic year together in Year 3. My favourite subjects in school are Maths and P.E. If I manage to find time outside of school then I like to play rugby or go and watch Harlequins which is my favourite premiership team. However, I would most probably try any new sport or challenge. Aside from being sporty, I like to go on trips with my friends and family to see new places – this usually involves eating some really nice food which is a bonus! However, no matter how busy I am I always try to make time to do some reading before bed as I am sure you agree how important it is for everyone to read as much as they can!

Miss Davies

Hello! This is my second year at Chatsworth and I'm delighted to be teaching Big Ben. I love teaching and learning and am sure we will have a great year together. My favourite subjects when I was at school were Literacy and History and I still love getting lost in the past or in a good book. Outside of school I enjoy keeping fit by running and playing netball. I am also passionate about travel and have been lucky enough to teach in India and Italy.

Mrs Firth

I started Chatsworth in 2010 and have taught in Years  2, 3 and 4. I became a mum in 2013 and now only teach part-time.  I work all day on Monday but on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays I only work in the afternoons.  I currently teach in Downing Street with Mr Pirbhai. I also share the role of Maths coordinator with Mr Goddard. I love travelling, and when I was little I moved around a lot, living in 4 different countries before my family moved to the UK when I was 13. I also enjoy reading, baking and decorating cakes and exploring the outdoors.
