Children are encouraged to dress up as their favourite scientist, a scientific concept/invention or an element from their preferred area within the subject (e.g., light and shadows/ magnets and force). They should research their chosen scientist or area and be able to talk about why they chose this costume.

 

Reception children will also be excited to learn that they will have the opportunity to make a scientific hat in class on the day to wear as part of their costume.
