  Children are encouraged to dress up as their favourite scientist, a scientific concept/invention or an element from their preferred area within the subject (e.g., light and shadows/ magnets and force). They should research their chosen scientist or area and be able to talk about why they chose this costume.

   

  Reception children will also be excited to learn that they will have the opportunity to make a scientific hat in class on the day to wear as part of their costume.

• Easter Fair

  Our Easter Fair will take place in both halls (and playground, weather permitting) straight after school.  There will be a raffle, various stalls and games, a cake sale, children's Easter trail and other exciting things!

   

  Raffle tickets will be sold before and after school leading up to the fair.

   

  Any cake, hot cross bun or samosa donations would be gratefully received on the morning of the fair.

• Science Fair

  In order to share the wonderful work that the children have completed at home as part of the science competition and the amazing learning that has taken place in school so far, we will be holding our annual Science Fair from 3.00pm on Monday 26^th March. Parents, please feel free to visit your child’s class at this time to join in with the fun.

   

  Reception classes will also be open at this time for parents to find out what interesting questions the children came up with, what the answers were and how they investigated the questions further.

• Easter Hat & Bonnet Competition & Parade

  All of the children and staff can take part and there will be lots of prizes! All your child needs to do is create an Easter bonnet or hat to wear. During the day there will be a parade and our winners will be chosen. Get cracking on your Easter bonnets now – my Easter hat is now complete!
