Year 6
6SA - Miss Abdi
Hi, my name is Miss Abdi and I have been at Chatsworth for five years. In my career, I have taught a range of age groups but mainly key stage two. I enjoy teaching all subjects, however my favourite subjects are Geography and Mathematics. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, going to the cinema and my ambition in life is to see as many parts of the world as possible. Next, I hope to visit South America.
PS I have never played golf - but if I did, I would dominate. Mr Pearce and Miss Retallick are planning to take me golfing in the summer - they are going to need hard hats!
6RP - Mr R Pearce
Hello, my name is Mr Pearce and I teach year 6. I'm originally from South Wales and when I first came to London I only planned on staying for one year - that was 12 years ago! Outside of school, I enjoy going to the gym, playing golf and watching rugby.
6DR - Miss D Retallick
Miss Retallick completes the Year 6 team.
There are two facts about Miss Retallick that most children know:
- She is from Cornwall, the furthest county in the South West of the United Kingdom. They eat a lot of pasties there and also eat jam and cream scones, make sure you put the jam on first!
- Miss Retallick also lives on a boat on the Grand Union canal.
She has been teaching at Chatsworth for 11 years and has taught in Year 1, Year 2, Year 5 and now Year 6!
While Mr Pearce tries his best at golf, Miss Retallick is the better golfer!
