6DR - Miss D Retallick
Miss Retallick completes the Year 6 team.
There are two facts about Miss Retallick that most children know:
- she is from Cornwall, the furthest county in the South West of the United Kingdom. They eat a lot of pasties there and also jam and cream scones – but make sure you put the jam on first!
- she also lives on a Dutch barge on the Grand Union canal.
She plays the piano and cornet and usually plays The Last Post for our 2 minutes silence on Remembrance Day. A keen golfer, she can often be found hitting a little white ball around the Buckinghamshire countryside. Her motto is ‘Hit it…….find it…….hit it again!’
She has been teaching at Chatsworth for 14 years and has taught in Reception, Year 1, Year 2, Year 5 and now Year 6!
6MD - Miss M Davies
Hi, I’m Miss Davies and I currently teach in Year 6. This is my ninth year at Chatsworth and, before Year 6, I was lucky enough to teach in Years 5, 3 and 1. I love learning and finding out new things, which is why you can often find me reading and exploring London when I'm not at school. I also really enjoy the outdoors and spend lots of time running, as well as rowing on the Thames.
6SG - Mr S Goddard
Mr Goddard is in his 8th year at Chatsworth having taught in Years 1,2,3 and now 6. Mr Goddard leads Maths and Key Stage 2 currently. Outside of school he is a keen rugby player but will try anything sporty or adventurous. Mr Goddard’s other passion is trying new foods and delicacies. Mr Goddard would love everyone at Chatsworth to be avid readers and well-rounded mathematicians.
