  • Cake Sale

    Thu 15 May 2014

There will be a cake sale next week, on Thursday 15th May.

Cakes will be on sale at the end of the school day. I shall have a go at baking

a batch myself, but we’ll need lots of donations of cakes from parents and

carers too please. This term we are asking the parents and carers of children

in the reception classes and in Year 3, to rise to the challenge and donate

cakes for the sale. They can be home-made or shop bought, but should NOT contain nuts.

  • Frank Lampard

    Thu 23 Jan 2014

We were very lucky to welcome Frank Lampard to school last week. Kamile, the competition winner, has written a little about the day.

I am very glad that I won a competition which allowed Frank Lampard to come to my school. It was very nice that he brought two coaches with him and that he gave my class a football training session, although he was injured .It was also convenient when Frank Lampard gave Year 5 a Q&A session (question and answer)so everyone found out a lot about him. Everyone in Year 5 received a signed copy of the first book he wrote, "Frankie’s Magic Football : Pirate Pillagers." Some people in other year groups got to meet Frank Lampard because he left the school through the playground, so a lot of people crowded round him to get things signed.

We hope you all enjoyed your soup and pudding made by the children. We couldn't have put on such a feast without your generous donations to add to our school grown produce.
