• Christmas Jumper Day

  Christmas jumper day is a charity day for Save the Children.  If you wish, you may donate £1 on the day and wear your festive jumper in place of your normal school jumper.

• Mufti day - wear the rainbow theme

  For Children in Need this year, there will be a Mufti day on Friday 19th November. The theme is wear a rainbow, so please come in as many bright colours as possible. Please also bring a £1 donation

• Pedal for Pudsey week

  We will be doing ‘Pedal for Pudsey’ as part of our fundraising for Children in Need this year. If you would like to take part in this fundraising initiative, you need to cycle to school every day next week. You can gain sponsorships from your family/friends (see sponsorship form attached on Google Classroom) or donate to the school's just giving page: (https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/chatsworth-primary-school). You will need to place your bikes in the area of the school shown to you by your class teacher. You must wear a helmet and we advise you to wear reflective clothing as the evenings are getting darker earlier. If you have any questions, please ask your class's school council member or Miss Wotton/Miss Hatton.

• Last day for bringing in photo proof orders

  All orders for individual pupil photographs need to be received in school today.  You can alternatively use the codes on your child's proof to order online.

• Harvest Supper

  Our Harvest Supper starts at 5.30pm.  Both gates will be open for you and your family to come along and enjoy the delicious soups, breads, cakes and fruit salad that the children have been working hard to make this week.
   
  PLEASE REMEMBER - everyone needs to bring 2 bowls and 2 spoons to enjoy soup and pudding. Unfortunately, we don't have the facilities for you to wash your bowls between courses.

• INSET Day - School closed for staff training

  The half term break runs from Monday 25th October to Friday 29th October inclusive. Please note that the school will also be closed on Monday 1st November for staff training and children will return at the usual time of 8.40am on Tuesday 2nd November.

• Y5/6 School Journey to PGL Centre on Isle of Wight

  Children will need to come to school at 10.30am on Monday 18th October and we aim to leave promptly at 11.30am. The children will return on Friday 22nd October at approximately 7.00pm
