We are very excitied that we have implemented the Young Interpreters Scheme at our school.

 

The Young Interpreter Scheme aims to provide additional support to pupils who are learning English as an additional language. The scheme recognises the huge potential that exists within school community for pupils of all ages to use their skills and knowledge to support learners who are new to English so that they feel safe, settled and valued from the start.

 

We have finished our training and now we are ready to support new children, their families and our teaching staff.
